Senior Community Football
Season 2026
After two very successful, fun-filled seasons, the Crabettes will be going again in 2026!
In 2025 we finished second in Football SA’s Women’s Community Division 6 North league. We also made it to the quarter finals of the Div 4–6 cup, knocking off a couple of Div 4 and 5 teams along the way. However, due to various life commitments, we are losing a couple of our beloved teammates. So we’re looking to bolster our squad numbers with a couple of new Crabettes. Would you like to join us?
Our primary goal is to create an inclusive and fun environment for female players of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned soccer pro or just getting started, we believe that every player has a valuable role to play within our community. Here's what you can expect at the Crabs:
1. Fun in a Social Environment: Soccer is not only about the game but also about the camaraderie and shared experiences. We aim to provide a platform where you can enjoy the sport in a friendly and social atmosphere, and we pride ourselves on having an easy-going approach.
2. Learning and Skill Development: Our coaching staff will work with you to help you learn and enhance your soccer skills. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, we'll provide opportunities for growth and development.
The women's team is coached by Angus Smart, an experienced women's team coach. Angus brings a wealth of experience and passion for the game, and we're fortunate to have him lead our women's team.
