Do I need to be an old scholar to play soccer for the crabs?
Absolutely not. Whilst our teams are generally a place former students of Pulteney Grammar School will come to play football after high school, we do not exclude non-students. Players from all backgrounds are welcome to join. The only requirement is that you have a love for the beautiful game!
When does pre-season training start?
Each year, pre-season training officially starts around mid-February. Everyone is welcome to come for a session and see if you enjoy the fantastic social atmosphere the club is well known for. Please contact the club for more information.
How do I get started?
You can come along to any training session and introduce yourself—everybody is welcoming of new players. Or if you prefer you can you contact the club , have a chat to somebody on the phone or organise to meet with our Club President or a team manager first.
Do you play in the off season?
Yes! The club runs informal Crab Champions League one night per week through the course of the summer. All are welcome to come for a kick, visit this page for more information.
What are the registration fees?
Women’s Team Fees 2024
Women’s team fees for 2024 will be $380 (which includes your $143 FSA fee), and 2 free tickets to the annual quiz night.
We also have several great deals and incentives for players for the 2024 season.
They will be:
— if you register and pay before the ‘Early Bird’ deadline on your invoice, subs will be discounted by $30
— 23-year-old and under players - subs will be $100 (+ FSA fee)
— players who were registered last year and refer a new player who fully registers and pays will get a $50 rebate during the season.
Payment options will include EFT transfer and square payment at training and games.
CSL Team Fees 2024
After a $90 upfront fee to FSA when registering via the playfootball website, fees for 2024 will be $310, which includes 2 free tickets to the annual quiz night.
We also have several great deals and incentives for players for the 2024 season.
They will be:
— if you register and pay before the ‘Early Bird’ deadline on your invoice, subs will be discounted by $30
— 23-year-old and under players - subs will be $170 (+ FSA fee)
— players who were registered last year and refer a new CSL player who fully registers and pays will get a $50 rebate during the season.
Payment options will include EFT transfer and square payment at training and games.
Masters Fees 2024
Masters fees for 2024 will be $420 (which includes your $90 FSA fee).
We have several great deals and incentives for players for the 2024 season.
They will be:
